Armando has a background in computer science and was part of the first wave of AI as a Lisp programmer. He started in the symbolic area and has seen its various heights and falls over the years. About 6-7 years ago, Armando’s CTO with a Ph.D. in AI from his boutique private equity group partnered with him to start investing in AI and it has been a part of his world ever since.
